We are currently working with a large housing association based in the South of England, who focus on providing affordable housing andmunity services.
Your new role
As an Electrician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining properties to a high standard through electrical repairs, installations, and inspection/testing. You’ll carry out both responsive and planned works, including full rewires and upgrades to kitchens and bathrooms in occupied and unoccupied homes.You’ll deliver safe, efficient services while ensuringpliance with BS7671 standards. The role also includes emergency call-out duties, collaboration with other trades, and mentoring apprentices and trainees.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
1. Relevant qualifications such as:City & Guilds 2391City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, or 2351/2330 Levels 2 & 3NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
2. Experience working in social housing or similar environments.
3. Desirable: City & Guilds 2394/2395 for inspection and testing.
4. Strong working knowledge of BS7671 and electricalmissioning.
5. A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to properties, including remote locations.
6. Good time management, customer service skills, and the ability to use handheld devices for job planning.
7. Willingness to undertake physically demanding work and ongoing training.
