The Role:
As a Demi Chef De Partie you will assist both the Chef de
Partie, Sous & Head Chef in the overall responsibility of the operation
of a section in the kitchen and the preparation and service of food,
ensuring that the highest standards of quality, food
safety and hygiene are always maintained.
* You will be responsible to produce food within a designated section.
* You will ensure stock control procedures are adhered to including the appropriate storage, rotation and retention of stock.
* You will also be fully aware of all dishes, menus, recipes, allergens and costs in all items which are the responsibility of your section.
The Person
* You will take pride in your area and working for Beaverbrook, with outstanding attention to detail.
* Your previous experience will encompass working in a 5* hotel or fine dining restaurant as a Demi Chef De Partie or Apprentice Chef.
* Your qualifications will include Food Safety certificate, City & Guilds or equivalent Memberships of Chefs’ Association.
Shift Pattern
* This position will consist of 45 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7.
* The hours for this position will typically consist of: 09:00-23:00 or 15:00-23:00.
Salary: £27,000 per annum plus tronc.
