NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
As a Senior Pharmacist within the North East Rehabilitation Service, you will deliver a high-quality, patient-centred clinical pharmacy service across community and primary care settings. Working autonomously as an independent prescriber, you will manage complex caseloads and support patients to achieve the best possible outcomes from their medicines. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on enabling independence and improving quality of life. NHSGGC offers a supportive, forward-thinking environment with strong professional development opportunities and a commitment to innovation in care delivery. You will play a key role in shaping modern pharmacy practice while making a meaningful difference to the communities we serve. Join one of Scotland’s largest and most dynamic health boards and help us deliver excellence in rehabilitation care.
Note: All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHSGGC can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
We offer a wide range of supportive policies designed to enhance your employee journey, including a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work Scheme, bursary scheme and extensive learning and development opportunities.
