Job Description
Temporary, fixed-term, grant-funded position until 31/03/2026.
Full-time, 37 hours per week.
There are 3 positions available.
Team Teulu
Our local authority's approach to family engagement. As we approach our third year of delivery, we are recruiting three new Learning Community Managers to continue our recognized good practice approaches in the Neath and Dulais valleys and support expansion into two new communities.
Role Responsibilities
* Support the development of Team Teulu across the Neath and Port Talbot valleys, enhancing family engagement opportunities across all schools within learning communities.
* Ensure consistency in approaches while tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each school community.
* Collaborate with other services across the local authority through Learning Community networks.
* Manage a team of term-time Family Engagement Officers to deliver the Welsh Government Community Focused Schools agenda.
* Develop positive, proactive, and preventative approaches to supporting families.

We are looking for strategic thinkers with a creative streak, excellent collaboration skills, and a commitment to our core values, especially focusing on pupil and family voice and feedback on impact and outcomes.
