Role Summary
Reporting to the Global Skin Brand Partner & Marketing Design Lead, this role is at the heart of creating innovative and desirable skincare products. You will translate emerging trends and semiotic codes into tangible opportunities for our hair/skin brands, building cross-functional teams to drive sustainable innovation in formula, packaging, and consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Co-Creation Sprints
o Align with the Skin Lead on priority projects, leading with support and coaching.
o Collaborate with Trends & Beauty Academy Lead and R&D teams to convert macro trends into product and packaging innovations.
o Act as a strategic partner to skin brand teams, shaping project briefs and leading co-creation sprints and crafting sessions.
o Develop creative stimuli for sprints, collaborating with internal teams and external experts to foster creative thinking.
2. Packaging Design
o Partner with Brand Leads to execute design strategies, managing a design ecosystem including internal teams and external designers & agencies.
o Manage 2-3 freelance designers, overseeing work, workload, and external partnerships.
o Handle sourcing, onboarding, and budget management for external suppliers.
3. Budget & Systems Management
o Build and maintain an external contact database with your skin counterpart.
o Onboard external suppliers and manage purchase orders and cross-charges with finance.
Candidate Profile
* Deep passion for beauty and aesthetics, with understanding of skin/hair categories.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills across cultures and levels.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
* Facilitation and co-creation expertise.
* Adaptability and agility in a changing environment.
* Consumer-centric mindset and ability to articulate aesthetic visions clearly.
* Attention to detail and creative coherence.
Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree with significant experience in brand marketing and product innovation.
* Experience leading packaging design projects and evaluating creative work.
* Proven track record in beauty innovation and brand strategy development.
* Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
Additional Details
This is a London-based role with a minimum of two days in the office. Travel within the UK and abroad may be required for print trials and mock-up productions.

Location and Future Plans
The role is based at 100 Victoria Embankment, London, with potential relocation to Kingston-upon-Thames by early 2025, subject to ongoing consultations. The final work location will be confirmed after these discussions.
