MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd is on the lookout for a Claims Handler to join our friendly and fast-paced team in our Barnsley Office!
What You'll Be Doing:
From first contact to final resolution, you'll be the driving force behind managing environmental claims from start to finish - no handoffs, just ownership and impact. You'll build strong relationships, keep our clients informed, and ensure every claim is handled with care, compliance, and confidence.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
* Handling claims end to end with accuracy and empathy
* Supporting clients and customers via phone, email, and CRM systems
* Prioritising cases and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Liaising across internal teams to keep everything running smoothly
* Helping improve our claims processes with your ideas and feedback
What We're Looking For:
* A proactive, detail-oriented team player with a "can-do" attitude
* Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
* Previous experience in customer service or a fast-paced office environment
* (Bonus) Insurance or claims handling experience
