About the Role:Bentley Motors, an industry-leading organisation in the automotive sector is on the lookout for an IT Project Manager. As an IT Project Manager, you will take the reins on individual IT projects, potentially juggling several at once! Your primary mission? To ensure seamless project execution, from planning to closure, while fostering excellent relationships with stakeholders. Your expertise will steer our projects toward success, ensuring they are cost-effective and aligned with our organisational strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning & Setup:
- Prepare resource estimates and budget forecasts.- Validate and secure approval for business cases before project initiation.- Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and schedules.- Coordinate procurement processes and onboard project teams.
* Project Execution:
- Lead risk and issues management, ensuring timely escalation.- Monitor project expenditure and benefits realisation.- Prepare and deliver project gateway reviews.
* Project Communication:
- Build relationships with stakeholders and project teams.- Share regular status updates and prepare reports.- Facilitate steering committees and team meetings.
* Project Closure:
- Ensure proper project closeout and documentation.- Conduct lessons learned reviews and prepare benefits delivery assessments.
Who You Are:
* You possess demonstrable experience in IT project management.
* You have a knack for organising and sprioritising workloads effectively.
* Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch, enabling you to influence stakeholders positively.
* You hold a relevant degree or diploma and advanced project management qualifications (e.g., Prince2).
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL practices is essential!
