Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation within the FMCG industry.
Responsibilities
* Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and systems.
* Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance activities.
* Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed and parts used.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes.
* Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
* Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within the FMCG industry.
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills for machinery and equipment issues.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an engineering environment.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
