Role: Head of Programme Delivery - People Systems Projects (Phase 2)

Sellick Partnership is partnering with a leading Higher Education institution to recruit a Head of Programme Delivery on a fixed-term basis.
The Responsibilities of the Head of Programme Delivery will be:
Leading the end-to-end delivery of Phase 2 of the People Systems Project, ensuring two critical workstreams - Systems, Automation & Innovation and Position Data & Establishment Control - are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Overseeing delivery planning, governance structures, resource management, risk mitigation and stakeholder communications.
Driving stakeholder engagement across senior leaders and wider university teams, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and delivery expectations.
Managing third-party suppliers and technical partners to ensure contractual deliverables and value for money.
Championing cultural and behavioural change as new ways of working, automation, and data disciplines are embedded.
Maintaining budget oversight and ensuring robust data governance and compliance.
The Ideal candidate for the Head of Programme Delivery will have:
Extensive experience leading complex transformation programmes within HR, digital systems, or enterprise-wide change.
Strong knowledge of HR systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors) and data governance.
A proven track record of successful delivery within large, complex organisations.
Excellent leadership skills, able to inspire diverse, multi-disciplinary teams and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders.
Hands-on approach, comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels to drive delivery.
