I am seeking a skilled and proactive Production Planner to become an integral part of a well-established, close-knit team. In this role, you'll work closely with internal departments and customers to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently. Role And Responsibilities
* Overseeing end-to-end production from order receipt, through to production and shipment
* Directly responsible for the Planning Assistant
* Input and process customer orders (checking against quotes and maintaining accuracy in their system)
* Generate job packs according to the production plan, ensuring correct materials and tools are available; raise purchase orders for required materials and parts
* Identify and report potential production risks
* Monitor progress of jobs to ensure deadlines and customer budgets are met
* Ensure workspaces are kept clean and safe, following Health and Safety policies
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Must have experience within a manufacturing environment
* Good working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
