Your role and responsibilities The Ipswich and East Strategic Commissioning and Contract Management Team are seeking a motivated individual to join us. This is an ideal development opportunity to gain insight into Suffolk's provider care market, and we welcome applications from individuals with limited contract management experience. You will be part of a supportive team responsible for the contract management and development of care services across the Ipswich and East area. The services you will work with include nursing and residential care, home care, extra care, day opportunities and community-based support. In this role, you will: Support the quality and performance of commissioned services for Suffolk residents Work closely with social work teams, safeguarding colleagues, CQC (Care Quality Commission) and health partners Carry out PAMMS (Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution) assessments (initially with support) and monitor provider performance Respond to day-to-day enquiries received through the duty inbox Gain practical experience in contract management and service development You will need You will bring transferable skills and a positive approach to learning, alongside: A willingness to learn and develop within a commissioning and contract management environment The ability to quickly understand new information, systems and processes Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of partners The confidence to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (Word), which you can find in the 'How to apply' section towards the bottom of this advert.
