What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Bioresources Treatment Manager, as a Bioresources Technician, you will ensure Water Recycling treatment processes and systems are serviced and maintained for effective and efficient operation, meeting regulatory standards such as H&S, HACCP, and Compliance.
Key duties include:
* Carrying out safety checks on boilers following current HSE guidelines and implementing actions on Compliance Action Plans
* Investigating issues and promoting corrective actions, maintaining equipment with basic mechanical skills, and monitoring contractor work on wastewater assets
* Communicating across the site team, inspecting safety equipment including legionella testing, gas, electricity, emergency lighting, and reporting issues
What does it take to be a Bioresources Technician?
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Experience in operational roles; sewerage environment experience is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with various teams
* Proactive, flexible, and willing to learn
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems (training provided)
* Hands-on positive attitude
* Full driving license
