Property Administrator
Our client based in St Neots is seeking a Property Assistant to support the conveyancing team in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
1. Acquire basic knowledge of the entire conveyancing process and support teams such as accounts and post-completion.
2. Ensure all referral reports are updated daily.
3. Handle office administration tasks, including post, filing, account balances, and file closures.
4. Manage all aspects of sale transactions from instruction to completion, including issuing contracts, handling freehold/leasehold inquiries, and exchanging contracts.
5. Prepare and issue contract papers to the buyer’s solicitors.
6. Deal with freehold and leasehold sale inquiries.
7. Provide regular updates to clients, estate agents, and solicitors.
8. Answer phone calls promptly.
9. Work extra hours as needed to meet deadlines and ensure excellent service.
10. Maintain professionalism in all contacts.
11. Set up sales and purchases for completion, including preparing the completion pack for signature.
12. Ensure secondary forms, identification, and source of funds are received early in the transaction.
13. Keep checklists updated.
14. Perform additional duties as required.
