We would like to recruit a highly skilled and creative practitioner to join our St James family to nurture and inspire our children. The successful candidate will be caring and supportive to the needs of the children, be committed to our safeguarding responsibilities and work with the St James team to ensure all children become "let their light shine". As our new EYFS Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our youngest learners' experiences, embedding outdoor learning and making the most of our extensive grounds.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
* have a passion for early years and outdoor learning
* be able to lead, inspire and develop a dedicated EYFS team
* have a secure understanding of the national curriculum and assessment process
* have high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour
* be able to use assessment data to effectively plan learning experiences
* have an interest in leading a core subject
* be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for our children
* create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment
* have high standards of communication and interpersonal skills
* be flexible in their approach and be able to respond to the needs of our children and the school
* be warm and happy with a good sense of humour, Relevant qualification (BA QTS B.Ed or PGCE)
* Experience of working in the EYFS phase
