Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Lead

Salary: Trust Band A £49,781 - £54,939 per annum

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

DBS: Yes, Enhanced with Barred List Check

This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in 8 days at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

St Lawrence Academies Trust is a new church-based Multi-Academy Trust committed to serving the young people and communities in which our schools are situated. We are a diverse trust, including both church and community schools from primary to secondary phases.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our growing trust as a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Lead. The role involves acting as a SEND coordinator in some schools and supporting the monitoring and development of SEND across Trust schools.

As a growing Trust, we seek someone willing to help shape our future, share learning, and build on experience across our network of schools.

The successful candidate will:

* Oversee and monitor SEND provision in our partner and wider partner schools
* Lead SEND provision in some partner schools
* Develop and deliver professional development programmes for SEND across primary and secondary schools
* Deliver CPD and INSET courses to partner and wider schools, and evaluate their effectiveness
* Conduct SEND health check visits to improve SEND quality and effectiveness
* Collaborate with the Director of Education to plan and coordinate SEND support between schools
* Review and enhance SEND support strategies in collaboration with the Director of Education and Deputy CEO
