Overview
An exciting opportunity to join the Ophthalmology team in Fife. The Ophthalmology department requires an HCSW to work with our team. You will be dealing with members of the public and patients and staff within the ophthalmology department of NHS Fife.
Responsibilities
* Provide support within the ophthalmology department as an HCSW.
* Deal with members of the public, patients and staff in the ophthalmology department.
* Demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork.
* Report to the Senior Charge Nurse Ophthalmology.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) role in ophthalmology.
* Excellent telephone communication skills and interpersonal skills; strong team player.
* Must be willing to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom; not a UK/Irish national may require confirmation of right to work.
