Administrator – Memory Assessment Service

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Administrator to support the county‑wide Memory Assessment Service in the West ICA. The role requires initiative, independent judgement and decision‑making to deliver a high‑quality administrative service for MAS clinicians.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver a comprehensive, high‑quality secretarial and administrative service to MAS clinicians and play a central role in the provision of services.
* Coordinate appointments and book rooms across a variety of settings within the designated area.
* Use a variety of Trust in‑house computer systems to provide a high level of customer care.
* Work with minimum supervision, using initiative, planning and prioritising own time in a busy and challenging environment.
* Maintain a professional and flexible approach, demonstrating honesty, integrity and discretion.
* Deliver a patient‑focused approach, respecting privacy, dignity, religious and cultural beliefs and maintaining confidentiality.
* Support the wider administration team in the designated area.

Qualifications and Experience
* RSA III/OCR III Word‑Processing/Typing/Text Processing or equivalent qualification or experience.
* GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
* NVQ 3 Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or relevant equivalent experience.
* Experience of providing administrative support within a healthcare setting.
* ECDL Computer skills or equivalent qualification.
Skills and Aptitude
* Good written communication skills, including spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
* Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
* Diary management skills.
Knowledge and Abilities
* Ability to relate and empathise with patients, carers and members of the public.
* Ability to understand and follow procedures.
* Knowledge/experience of RiO system.
