Shape the Future of Automotive Excellence: Aston Martin is seeking Metrology Degree Apprentices. This role focuses on precision, data analysis, and contributing to design, process and part quality decisions across engineering, manufacturing and quality processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Master measurement techniques: learn how to select, use and develop methods to ensure precision and accuracy.
* Data analysis and problem-solving: use measurement data to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
* Drive innovation: collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve designs and processes for current and future models.
* Create clear reports: communicate findings to cross-functional teams and make recommendations to drive decision-making.
* Participate in a rotation plan across multiple departments to gain a holistic understanding of engineering, manufacturing and quality processes, including metrology, R&D body engineering, manufacturing engineering, and plant vehicle teams.
* Engage in a blended learning experience with practical on-the-job learning, online studies and immersive training sessions.
Essential Requirements
* 3 A-levels including Mathematics and Physics; consideration for strong profiles with A level Physics or A level Mathematics. GCSEs: English Language and Mathematics or Science at minimum grade 4/C (or equivalent).
* Able to commute to the Gaydon site by own means and attend Warwick University by own means.
