Salary: £33,803.62
We have two full-time Control Room Operator opportunities available at our Barnsley site. You will be responsible for bulk material intake, controlling the internal Recipe Management System, and multiple production control & management systems. Scheduling production runs accurately and ensuring all critical processes are followed and adhered to.
Responsibilities include:
* Checking paperwork and cross-matching documentation.
* Managing bulk deliveries and overseeing silos for stock and rotation through internal systems and databases.
* Managing the on-site Recipe Management System and other systems controlling bulk ingredients and production lines.
* Scheduling production runs using SAP.
* Controlling restricted items such as knives, scrapers, gantry, and restricted access keys.
* Checking permits to work.
* Performing daily stock takes.
* Creating, amending, and closing orders on SAP.
* Keeping intake points clean and maintained.
Requirements:
* Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office packages.
* In-depth SAP knowledge, including bookings, transfers, cross charges, investigating discrepancies, and flagging shortfalls (training provided).
* Friendly and approachable demeanor.
* FLT/EPT training (training provided).
* Ability to communicate effectively at different levels.
* Basic financial understanding of discrepancies' impact.
* Competent in Maths and English.
