Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects (Maths, English, Science) tailored to students with SEN needs
Support pupils with EHCPs and SEMH needs in a nurturing, structured environment
Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external agencies
Contribute to the development of individual education plans and behaviour support strategies
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth
Requirements :
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
Minimum Grade 4/C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs
Desirable:
Degree in a relevant subject area
SENCO Advanced Certificate or equivalent
Completion of Patoss AAA course (or willingness to undertake)
Experience in an alternative provision or PRU setting
