Role: Electronics Technician
Location & Working Model: Stevenage – Fully onsite
Salary: Circa £33,000 (dependent on experience)

What you’ll be doing:
• Provide hands-on technical support to electronic design engineers, assisting with test, diagnostics, and fault-finding activities across analogue, digital, RF, and optical technologies.
• Support the design and manufacture of cutting-edge electronic subsystems — including missile computers, actuation systems, data links, telemetry systems, and seekers.
• Carry out testing, prototyping, qualification, trials, and acceptance activities in a state-of-the-art lab environment.
• Work with oscilloscopes, waveform generators, dataloggers, spectrum analysers, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, contribute to data analysis, and support continuous improvement within production and development teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and contribute to new product introduction and research programmes.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
• HNC or equivalent qualification in an electrical or electronic discipline.
• Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and applied mathematics.
• Practical experience with testing and fault-finding in a lab or production environment.
• Competence in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and spectrum analysers.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with good attention to detail.
Desirable:
• Experience supporting production or prototype environments.
• Familiarity with analogue, digital, RF, and optical technologies.
• Understanding of design processes, kitting logistics, and prototype progression.
• Confident communication and report writing skills.
