Mechanical Engineer/ Project Engineer - based Northwich. Minimum 6 Months Contract Job description Description We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer, working on an interim basis on contract through our recruitment partner Morson, on a PAYE or Ltd Company basis for a period of around 6 months to support an increased workload within our Project Engineering team. Key Responsibilities To proactively observe and manage the daily activities of contract resources working on site to ensure projects are delivered to the optimum cost, quality and agreed timescales. Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are developed and maintained in accordance with CDM regulations, HSE and TCE safety regulations. This includes but is not limited to:-Project Safety File, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Permit to Work procedures and processes, Project Plan procedures & Safety Audits in order to ensure that accidents/incidents are eliminated. Provide the knowledge to the maintenance teams to drive equipment reliability. Take oversight of the work on plant to ensure highest standards of maintenance are being met. Write detailed job scopes to ensure maintenance planning is completed to the highest standard. Provide the technical input to resolve plant problems with focus on understanding root cause of failures and implementing long term engineering solutions.
