The role
A high-performing operations leader with experience in fast-paced environments, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong customer focus. Brings proven problem-solving ability and confident team leadership, alongside a track record of improving and challenging existing processes. Ideally has a background in transport, logistics, or dispatch, with a solid understanding of delivery operations and last-mile execution.
Main Duties
* Manages the team to ensure all operating procedures are fully complied with and all KPIs are consistently met.
* Customer Service; act as the primary point of contact for all delivery-related queries and resolve any delivery issues promptly, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Responsible for the effective planning of the team to maximize productivity & reacts swiftly to challenges & spikes in workload.
* Actively manages and develops the performance of the team – ensures the team are trained and supported as required as well dealing with performance issues in a timely fashion.
* Takes proactive ownership of fleet maintenance & compliance across all vehicles.
