Housekeeper
Location: Rachel House, Kinross
Salary: £22,932 - £24,990 per annum, pro rata + 6% shift allowance
Contract: Temporary 12 months +, up to 35 hours per week available across 2 roles
Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (8.75 working hours per day, typically day time shifts)

We are looking for two housekeepers to join our team at Rachel House in Kinross.
We have 35 hours available across four shifts per week, covering Friday to Monday. This role is well-suited to a Job Share arrangement, and we welcome applications for part-time hours.
For example, this could involve each person working four shifts per fortnight—one full weekend on (Friday to Monday) and the next weekend off. Alternatively, applicants could work two shifts per week on a rotating schedule covering shifts Friday to Monday. Lastly, we could consider shifts worked on set days every week (Friday to Monday).
Our Housekeepers play an essential role in allowing us to maintain the highest service levels within the Hospice. Join our Housekeeping team and help create a warm welcoming environment. We take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness as well adhering to Infection Prevention and Control practices to ensure we are providing a safe environment for our children, families and staff.
Key duties include:
• Helping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for families, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
• Preparing our children and parents bedrooms for their stay with us
• Laundry
About You
• You will be kind, reliable, and friendly with good communication skills.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience within a healthcare or commercial environment would beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety and Infection Control Practices is beneficial but not essential as full training with be given.
• Looking to work somewhere that genuinely makes a difference
