Key responsibilities of an Accounts Trainee
* Assisting with the preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts
* Assisting with the preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
* Preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping using cloud based software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
* Assistance with the preparation of personal tax returns
* General office administration tasks
About you
* 5 GCSE passes, including Maths and English
* A Levels grade A* to C, ideally in an Accounting related subject
* Knowledge of using Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel
* Is eager to progress and develop, with the willingness to adapt
* An effective communicator and listener and who would collaborate well with the rest of our team
* Wants to make a positive impact on our firm and be part of our journey into the future
* Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity
