Overview
As a Graduate Management Trainee, you are empowered to make business decisions that affect your career and the bottom line. You will gain responsibility for developing new business and maintaining current relationships. You will learn how to understand cost control, read your branch's P&L statement, and what it takes to run a profitable business. You will also learn how to deliver exceptional customer service and how to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with customers, vendors, and colleagues. You will learn sales techniques, problem solving strategies and conflict management to help you market to local business partners and build solid, long-lasting relationships with key decision makers.
During your development, you will learn to mentor, train, develop, manage and promote staff of your own. Your growth will be rewarded with pay increases and opportunities for continued promotions.
Responsibilities
* Develop new business and maintain current relationships.
* Understand cost control and read the branch P&L to contribute to profitability.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
* Learn sales techniques, problem solving, and conflict management.
* Market to local business partners and build long-lasting relationships with key decision makers.
* Mentor, train, develop, manage and promote staff and progress through a managerial track.
* Progression can lead to Branch Manager within the retail network or other roles including Human Resources, Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, professional experience can be substituted if applicable.
* You must have a full manual UK or EU driving licence, with accommodations available for applicants who don\'t drive due to a disability.
* No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record within the last five years is permitted.
