About the Company
Woozle Research is seeking an Associate Director to join our growing team in either our Glasgow or London office. This is a senior leadership position for experienced professionals who want to shape high-quality primary research used by the world’s top hedge funds, private equity firms, and consultancies.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for leading a team of Analysts and Associates, ensuring deliverables exceed client expectations, and cultivating long-term partnerships with investors and decision-makers. If you are passionate about guiding teams, building client relationships, and delivering market-moving insight, this opportunity is designed for you.
Responsibilities
* Manage and mentor a team of Equity Research Analysts and Associates to deliver exceptional research outputs
* Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance
* Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, providing daily updates and insight
* Drive client satisfaction and retention, addressing needs proactively and identifying new areas to add value
* Develop and refine processes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency across all projects
* Collaborate with senior leadership to define research priorities, resource allocation, and team development
* Train and coach team members, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in equity research, management consulting, market research, or a related field
Required Skills
* Proven team management and mentoring capabilities
* Excellent organisational skills and a track record of delivering high-quality client deliverables
* Experience in daily communication with clients, including handling new business discussions and ongoing project updates
* Comfortable balancing multiple priorities while ensuring rigorous standards of excellence
* Enjoys building and strengthening long-term client relationships

Pay range and compensation package
* £50,000–£55,000 salary, depending on location and experience
