Role Summary

To work as part of the Facilities Services Team within the Community Hospitals to carry out a range of duties associated with the provision of professional cleaning.

To contribute to the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors to ensure the highest standards are met at all times. The position demands respect for patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.

The post holder is expected to comply with Trust Infection Control Policies and conduct themselves in a manner that minimizes healthcare-associated infection risks.

More about the role

You should be passionate about cleanliness and eager to ensure patients receive quality services. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a desire to provide the best environment for patients and visitors are essential.

We seek individuals who enjoy teamwork but are confident working independently when needed.

Previous hospital experience is not essential, but attention to detail and experience in cleaning are desirable.

Working Pattern: Hours on a two-week rostering pattern.

Pay: The salary reflects the Agenda for Change 5/6 rates, including a pay award to be implemented later this year. If you join before then, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Until then, remuneration is based on the 4/5 pay bandings (Pay scales for 4/ | NHS Employers).
