About Our Client
Our client is a well-established organisation within the industrial/manufacturing industry. They are a medium-sized company known for their commitment to quality and operational excellence. They are now seeking an interim HR Advisor to join them on a temporary basis for around 3-4 months on their site in Newark.
Job Description
* Provide generalist HR support across various functions within the organisation.
* Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with company policies and employment law.
* Manage and resolve disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
* Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
* Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
* Support with employee relations, including handling queries and resolving conflicts.
* Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
* Coordinate training and development activities as required.
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and practices.
* Support payroll processes and ensure all employee data is up to date.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor should have:
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a multi-site or operational environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
* Track record of delivering HR projects and initiatives.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
* Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Customer-focused approach and ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
* Highly organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure.
* Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
* Ability to act as a true business partner, supporting managers and staff to achieve business needs.
