We are seeking a dynamic occupational therapist to join the academic team as a Teaching and Learning Fellow. Working with the Head of Subject and lecturers in the team, the post holder will deliver high‑quality teaching and learning to deliver excellent outcomes and student experience across pre‑ and post‑registration occupational therapy education, enterprise and research.
We are looking for a motivated, creative and ambitious occupational therapist who is keen to develop in an academic role. The candidate will build on our strengths to meet the demands of a changing health and social care landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design, develop and deliver a range of high‑quality programmes of study at all levels.
* Support development and delivery of innovative, simulation and practice‑based learning opportunities within our newly accredited occupational therapy programmes.
* Work with industry partners to innovate and identify and explore opportunities for enterprise, research and knowledge exchange.
* Foster the development of an inclusive community, using teaching approaches which encourage inclusivity, working in partnership with students to improve their sense of belonging, diversifying the curriculum and using approaches to inclusive assessment to close the award gap.
* Progress research and enterprise activities, in line with School priorities.

This is a full‑time, permanent role and the salary is grade 8; ranging from £38,784–£46,049 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
