Position: Humanities Teacher\n\nLocation: Northampton\n\nAre you a Humanities teacher looking for a new full-time role from September 2025?\n\nTeaching Personnel are working alongside successful schools in Central Northamptonshire who are hoping to welcome a dynamic Humanities teacher into their teams. We are recruiting for full-time positions to start from September 2025 until the end of the academic year.\n\nFull-time position to start in September 2025 until the end of the academic year.\nExperience teaching either History, Geography, Religious Education or any other Humanities based subject.\nTeaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-level\nThe successful Humanities Teacher will be expected to:\n\nPlan, prepare and deliver Humanities lessons to accommodate the needs of pupils at various levels of learning\nAssess and evaluate class work, report back to senior teachers and take appropriate action to support pupils in meeting their aims and objectives\nWork with pupils who may display challenging behaviour\nManage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies and promote positive behaviour management skills\nSupport with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Humanities\nRequirements\n\nQualified Teacher status (QTS) or equivalent\nQualification in History, Geography, Religious studies, or related fields\nExperience Teaching Secondary students up to A-level standard\nConfident to plan and deliver high\nEnhanced child only DBS\nAbout us\n\nTeaching Personnel is a leading agency in Education recruitment priding ourselves on providing you with a top-quality service.
