As a Quantity Surveying Apprentice, you are expected to have a high work ethic, focus, and thrive on challenges. The purpose of this role is to ensure the business is profitable and to ensure payments to subcontractors are handled promptly, while providing support to the commercial team through administrative tasks.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work within a team of professionals who are experts in their fields, guiding you towards becoming a trusted and valued member of the team.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be a team player and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Working with a team of professionals, you'll be responsible for supporting the commercial team, undertaking administrative tasks, and analysing costs and timesheets.
As our next Quantity Surveying Apprentice, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the business's profitability and managing subcontractor payments efficiently. You will need to have great attention to detail and collaborate effectively with the team.
The Key Requirements...
1. Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics and Science (9-4 within the new grading system)
2. In addition a BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma, Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship or one/two A level (s), in a relevant subject such as maths or science.
3. A full UK or EU Driving Licence
4. You must be able to demonstrate your Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role
5. You must be able to start on the 2nd September 2024
6. You must live in a commutable distance from the office, WF17 (Birstall)
7. Ability to work on own initiative without direct supervision with a high commitment for delivery and quality
About the Apprenticeship
Once you have completed the apprenticeship - which with take 36 months you will have achieved a Level 4 Construction Surveying Technician Apprenticeship.
