PRODUCTION MANAGER My client are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering. The role requires proven leadership and supervisory skills to manage people, processes, and workflows in a technically demanding workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Enforce health and safety standards and maintain a clean, organised workshop Lead, motivate, and develop workshop personnel Control workflow, labour, materials, and equipment scheduling Plan and manage production activities to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines Liaise closely with internal sales, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners Skills & Experience Formal engineering qualification (Mechanical Engineering or similar) Strong knowledge of manual and CNC machining, and fabrication processes Previous experience in a production or workshop management role Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Salary & Benefits £40,000 25 days holiday Bank holidays Monday-Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm with 30 min lunch break (12:30pm-13:00pm) Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm with 30 min lunch break (12:30pm-13:00pm)
