As part of the UCAS Business Intelligence and Reporting team, you’ll lead on shaping UCAS data into useable self-serve outputs for both technical and non-technical audiences, through development of reporting pipelines and reports. You will build reports, often in PowerBI, to deliver UCAS data to key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
You’ll have excellent numerate, analytical, and logical thinking skills, and a drive to find out things that really matter from data.
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Salary: Up to £37,000 + benefits and reward.
 1. Support maintenance and development of UCAS’ BI platform, including dashboard creation, data flows, and governance
 2. Collaborate across teams to define and refine Power BI reporting requirements
 3. Work with the Data Platform team to integrate new sources and transform models for reporting
 4. Build automated, interactive dashboards for internal and external use
 5. Ensure live Power BI services run effectively and evolve through improved insight
 6. Develop strong understanding of UCAS data (education, performance, sales, etc.)
 7. Adhere to and enhance BI standards across the team and business unit
 8. Manage workload in line with sprint goals and deliver impactful workstreams
 9. Drive innovation, improve automation and efficiency, and adopt new technologies
 10. Present insights to internal stakeholders and external customers
 11. Share knowledge and coach peers and junior team members
