As Logistics Manager you are responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, timely movement of products across multiple locations, and compliance with transport and customs regulations. This role involves managing a dedicated logistics team and maintaining strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to support global operations. You will be working with Operations, Supply Chain. Primary Responsibilities Day-to-day management of the UK based Stores, Dispatch and Logistics operations. Management of both the internal and external flow of materials through the supply chain. Ensure adequate controls are in place to ensure Inventory is controlled, managed and optimized to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Implementation and delivery of appropriate policies, processes, data analytics, and performance metrics to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Ensure the Logistics function supports and is proactive in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with key customers’ requirements for packaging and distribution. Ensure tools and processes are developed and maintained to support effective stock management. Management and control of all third-party relationships and costs involved in the global Logistics supply chain. Align, synchronize, and optimize IT so that it is used across group inventory and 3PL partners. Negotiate and manage transport agreements with carriers and logistics providers. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation for international shipments. Oversee import/export processes and maintain adherence to trade compliance requirements. Oversee and ensure forecasting is aligned with group processes and engage with relevant stakeholders About you We are hoping to meet a candidate who is used to working in a highly dynamic and international environment and who has a practical, hands-on approach to getting things done. You are able to manage a team and oversee end-to-end logistics operations while ensuring efficient inventory control. You are independent, self-driven, and have a positive attitude, and you are accustomed to working in cross-functional teams and driving your work from start to finish. Furthermore, the following qualifications will enhance your candidacy: Experience of managing end-to-end supply chain processes and disciplines. Knowledge/detailed awareness of fulfilment functions and parcel delivery networks. Awareness of international shipping requirements and INCO terms. A can-do attitude with a mindset of getting the job done with pace. Expertise in MRP & ERP systems. Effective communication and leadership skills. Self-motivated and experienced working in highly accountable environments. Strong relationship skills and able to work with key stakeholders at all levels across the organization and external supply chain. Appropriate business qualification, such a Post Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar. Prepared to work flexibly (hours, locations, etc.). Work hours are 8 hours each day on Monday to Thursday inclusive and 5 hours on Friday. The Employee will be entitled to an unpaid lunch break of a minimum 30 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes during each working day. The Company currently works a trial Flexitime Policy which full details are available in the policy. These are core hours and from time-to-time additional hours may need to be worked in order to successfully fulfil the requirements of the position. Additional information This is a fulltime position.
