You will provide one-on-one care for a young adult with cerebral palsy, helping them live life to the fullest at home and in the community.
This is more than just a care job – it’s about building meaningful connections and empowering someone to enjoy their hobbies, explore their interests, and live independently.
Your Responsibilities
Support with personal care and daily living activities
Administer medication as prescribed
Perform suctioning and enteral feeding via Mic-Key gastrostomy
Accompany the client to medical appointments and social activities
Encourage engagement in fun and creative hobbies (arts & crafts, Lego building, movie nights)
Build a trusting relationship with the client and their family
