The Role
An all-round Centre Assistant with the ability to be deployed in a number of areas including greeting centre users, assisting the kitchen area, providing additional staff presence and support around the site, cleaning of accommodation and shared spaces and supporting the general upkeep alongside a wider team.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide a warm, friendly, and efficient welcome to Centre users, check them in, answer their queries, and direct them to the appropriate location.
* Undertake regular check to ensure the facility is maintained to a high standard at all time and performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing throughout the facility.
* Maintain all linen and laundry within the facility ensuring all users have clean and comfortable laundry throughout the facility.
* Setting up the dining room and conference room for meetings or events (this will include moving chairs and tables).
* Preparing guest accommodation for their arrival in line with agreed standards
* Assisting the Catering Assistant where required which may include washing up, stocking food items and clearing away service areas.
* Notify your line manager(s) of any damages, deficits and disturbances throughout the facility to ensure accommodation and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
* Liaise with your line manager on stocking levels of all consumables and coordinate replacing products where appropriate.
* Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
* To understand and implement the Charity’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment.
* To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires.
* To work towards agreed objectives.
* Comply with all Charity policies.
* Promote the Burnley FC in the Community brand and ethos in a professional, strong, and positive manner.
* Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Driving licence or access to transport for work purposes.
* Previous experience and/or comfortability with lone working.
* Willingness to engage with people of all ages.
* Experience in a customer-facing environment or ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Time management skills to be able to plan and regulate workload including the ability to prioritise demands.
