About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our inclusive and supportive educational settings across Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting them to achieve their full potential.
You may work within a specialist provision, resource base, or mainstream school with a strong inclusive ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Support pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies where necessary
Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Knowledge of EHCP processes (desirable but not essential)
