Spare Parts Administrator £14.84 per hour Temporary- 4 month Contract 37 hours per week Shrewsbury An organised and detail-oriented Spare Parts Administrator is required to support a busy service and customer operations team. The role involves managing the end-to-end spare parts process, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely order processing to support both internal teams and external customers. Responsibilities of the Spare Parts Administrator: Manage spare parts enquiries from initial request through to invoicing. Provide customers with accurate information on availability, pricing, delivery times, and order status. Identify sales opportunities and support larger tenders. Book in and record incoming parts accurately. Handle technical queries, including part identification and drawings. Support reporting and liaise with internal teams and suppliers. Process returns in line with procedures. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards. Carry out general administrative duties as required. The Candidate: The successfully appointed Spare Parts Administrator will have the following skills and abilities: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident telephone manner. Strong IT skills, with experience using systems such as SAP or similar. Good numeracy and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Experience working within a service, parts, or customer support environment. A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting. Minimum GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Knowledge of parts sales or materials handling products would be advantageous but is not essential.
