Paralegal – Insurance Litigation (Vehicle Hire and Damage)
Join DAC Beachcroft as a Paralegal in our CSG team, working with over 40 insurance companies and self‑insured corporates. This permanent role is based in Newport.
We will be holding an Assessment Centre on Tuesdays 2nd December, which successful candidates will be invited to attend in the afternoon.
Our Vehicle Hire and Damage team deals with all aspects of defendant credit hire dispute resolution, providing an end‑to‑end solution. We also provide pre‑emptive advice and assist clients in formulating strategies for claims ranging from small track to multi‑track, including fraudulent claims. Your work will span liability, indemnity, loss, personal injury, credit repair and diminution.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of pre‑litigated or litigated work.
* Screen matters for prospects and liaise with clients upon receipt of instructions.
* Review instructions and provide client advice on case prospects.
* Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.
* Instruct experts and counsel, draft witness statements and other court documents.
* Maintain contact with clients and their customers whilst proactively managing expectations.
