About you
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team and support our commitment to delivering products and services of the highest standard. The role is suited to someone with a solid technical background, strong attention to detail, and the ability to apply both internal and external quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection activities across mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products.
Ensure internal procedures, customer specifications, and relevant industry standards.
Maintain accurate records and manage inspection documentation to support traceability and compliance.
Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality.
Communicate inspection findings clearly, both verbally and in written reports.
Skills & Experience Required
Technical understanding and hands-on experience in mechanical discipline
Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements (internal and external).
Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation control.
Confident communicator with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
Previous experience in a quality or inspection role within manufacturing is highly desirable.
As a QC Inspector, you will have a keen eye for detail and are able to draw on mechanical experience to be able to accurately inspect machines against internal and external standards. You will be an ambassador for the quality team, ensuring the business embodies the five quality principles in their daily activities.
You'll need have the knowledge and skills to read and understand technical documentation. You should be a strong communicator to be able to maintain relationships with other departments and key stakeholders across the business.
About the role
You will be the final line of defence ensuring machines are compliant and built to their specifications, maintaining highly accurate records and providing any in the moment training where necessary.
You will be accountable for the completion of inspection audits when inspecting mechanical assemblies and the collation of such information to be able to produce reports in line with KPI data sets.
