Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water Infrastructure

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next role in water infrastructure? My client, a main contractor delivering water main renewal and clean water civils projects, has an immediate opportunity to join the commercial team supporting multiple live schemes.
Responsibilities
* Administer commercial and financial aspects of projects across the programme
* Prepare CVRs, cost and value reports, applications for payment and forecasts
* Manage procurement for labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages
* Lead subcontract management from terms and risk attribution to final account
* Manage change through Early Warnings and Variations
* Administer the principal contract, including NEC and IChemE Burgundy Book
* Provide VOWD and demand forecasting with robust cost control
* Work closely with delivery teams to support safe and efficient delivery
* Identify opportunities to improve value and margin
Skills and Experience
* Degree, HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, or substantial relevant experience
* Experience in water, utilities or civil infrastructure
* Strong working knowledge of NEC. JCT and IChemE experience beneficial
* Proactive approach to risk and opportunity management
* Intermediate to advanced Excel, confident handling large data sets
* Full UK driving licence
