We have a unique opportunity for a talented chef to join a best in class pastry brigade, who provide baked and chilled products to our outlets and large meetings and events operation.
As Pastry Chef De Partie your scope will be to support the Head Pastry Chef by leading your shift and overseeing in the day-to-day performance of your section.
Proficiency in the tasks of Apprentice and Commis Chefs, including mise en place
Production of the highest quality pastry goods in correct volumes
Cleaning schedules, food storage, food preparation, and service cleardown
Completion of daily food hygiene checks and due diligence records
Consistent production of food to recipe and presentation standards in SOP's
Monitoring performance in via checklists and SOPs
Providing feedback to the junior team to support improved performance
Supporting with any shift challenges
On job training of new employees

SVQ in Food Production at SCQF Level 5 or equivalent qualification or equivalent industry experience
Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification
Current or recent experience as Pastry Demi Chef De Partie or Chef De Partie, in a quality hotel or restaurant
