Job Title: Painter / Decorator
Location: Manchester & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £30,000 - £40,000
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediately
Responsibilities
* Work in the property refurbishment and finishing team to deliver professional-grade painting services across active project sites, reporting to the site manager.
* Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming walls and ceilings.
* Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Hang wallpaper and other wall coverings when required.
* Ensure work meets quality standards and site deadlines.
* Clean work areas and maintain tools and materials.
Skills and Experience (Qualifications)
* Interior and exterior painting in residential and commercial settings.
* Surface preparation and multi-coat finishing techniques.
* Good communication skills, particularly with written and verbal English.
* Access to reliable transport; client sites are accessible via car, public transport, or cycling.
* Experience working to health and safety standards on live sites.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a small trades team.
* A valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential).

Our client is a property refurbishment and maintenance provider that is looking for a Painter / Decorator to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. This client works on a range of projects including occupied residential, commercial offices, and new build fit-outs.
