Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Redbridge at a time of development and change! The Assistant Director for Adult services is pivotal to the change and transformation we need to make to ensure we are fit for the future and are able to deliver the ambition of the 10 year plan.

Main duties of the job

·TobuildeffectivepartnershipswithICB,LocalAuthorities,AcuteCareTrusts,andVoluntary Sector Providers.

·Tosetandreviewobjectives,inthecontextofstrategicdevelopments,withintheservices.

·Toworkinpartnershipwithpatientsandcarersworkingtowardsthehigheststandards.

·Toestablisheffectivemeansofserviceco-ordinationofservicestoensurecareisdeliveredin the least restrictive and disruptive manner possible.

·Toholdbudgetaryresponsibilityandaccountabilityrelatingtoallserviceareaswithintheremit of the post.

·Toeffectivelyreportagainsttargetsandprovideinsightsintotheperformanceofthe Directorate.

·Todevelopeffectivepatientcentereddecision-makingprocesses.

·Toaddresstheneedtoenhancetherole,status,training,support,andcareerdevelopment of staff.

·Toensureeffectiveandappropriateleadershipandmanagementexpertise.

·Topromotewaysinwhichservicescanprojectamorepositiveandsociallyinclusiveviewof health and social care.

·AsAssistantDirectortoengagefullyacrossallareasofbusinessfocusingonimproving the physical and mental health of all serving populations.

High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,414 to a maximum of £5,941 pro rata for part time).
