The role As a Capability Manager, you’ll be a key part of the Submarine Operations Centre, a joint Babcock and Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) team. You will leverage your knowledge and digital tools to enhance submarine maintenance management and support effective operations by waterfront project teams.
Responsibilities include:
Providing complex programme and engineering data analysis for decision-making.
Leading planning and coordination activities within the Submarine Operations Centre.
Advising stakeholders supported by Project and Engineering teams.
This full-time role involves 35 hours per week with hybrid working (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Occasional travel to Plymouth, Devon is required.
Essential Experience Knowledge of submarine in-service support arrangements.
Proven senior stakeholder management experience.
Full project lifecycle experience from bid to closeout.
Experience in project management roles.
Ability to lead and inspire high performance.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project, or construction management or equivalent experience.
Chartership or route to chartership in project management or engineering.
Security Clearance The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance. Details on eligibility are available at UK government security vetting guidelines.
