We’re looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Newton Abbot on a part-time basis.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to:
* Support pupils with their learning, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
* Assist with classroom activities, preparation, and organisation.
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
* Help create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within a caring and dynamic school setting.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children (school-based experience preferred).
* Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
* Has good communication skills and works well as part of a team.
* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check.
* (Desirable) Holds a relevant TA qualification or equivalent experience.
