JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Croydon Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day, Benefits: PAYE Job Duties: Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom Assist SEN students with their learning and development Work closely with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students Provide one-to-one support for SEN students as required Required Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience working with SEN students Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN needs and how to support them effectively Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards students Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Additional training in specific SEN areas Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Classroom-based role with occasional outdoor activities Supportive team environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
