City of London, Tower Hamlets | Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Salary: £37,870 – £56,154 (M1 – U3)

Teach Now is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the City of London to recruit a committed and adaptable Primary Class Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, community-focused school with flexibility in year group placement.

This one-form entry primary school serves a diverse and vibrant community and is known for its strong emphasis on inclusion, pastoral care, and community engagement. The school works closely with local family services to support pupils holistically, ensuring every child is given the opportunity to thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

The school is seeking a flexible class teacher open to teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Lower Key Stage 2, depending on strengths and experience.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and speech & language
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
• Contribute to the wider life and community of the school

What Were Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools
• Flexibility across year groups (EYFS, KS1, or lower KS2 preferred)
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
• A positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training. Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
