We are currently seeking an Out of Hours Intervention Worker to play a vital role in our Criminal Justice Service in Streatham.
What Will You Be Doing?
As part of our team, you will work in Approved Premises (APs) that support high-risk individuals released from prison. This unique environment provides essential contact, support, and supervision, contributing significantly to public protection. You will be part of a dedicated and enthusiastic staff team, helping individuals reintegrate into the community and make positive choices.
A Day in This Role Looks Like...
As an Out-of-Hours Intervention Worker at Hestia, your contributions will directly impact the lives of our service users, guiding them toward empowerment and independence. Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support, including compiling documents related to residents' medication, curfews, and sign-in registers.
* Conduct welfare checks on residents in the Approved Premises.
* Ensure timely and accurate recording of information on electronic databases.
* Encourage compliance with curfews and drug & alcohol testing.
* Liaise with partners, including on-call managers, probation, and police.
* Monitor and maintain the health, safety, and hygiene of the Approved Premises.
* Use initiative to identify and address additional tasks or issues as they arise.
